As the Technical Sales Specialist for Incucyte based in the San Diego (CA), you will be responsible for the growth of revenue by sales of the Incucyte product portfolio within the designated territory. This role requires developing strong customer relations and managing the sales process according to the organizational strategy.

What you will accomplish together with us:

Promote, demo and sell the product portfolio including instruments, reagents & consumables and service contracts to achieve revenue targets

Assess and analyze customer needs, respond to customer inquiries and suggest products and services to optimize their processes

You will work closely with internal cross functional teams including field applications scientists, service engineers, order process management specialists and accounting specialists to implement successful strategies to grow the business

You will coordinate and participate in marketing events to enhance customer engagement with the products and brand and occasionally participate in key conferences & trade shows

Assess the potential of each customer and develop strategic account plans for key accounts

Manage and build strong customer relationships for long term partnerships

Manage your business through our CRM tool & Tableau to report out quarterly on business goal attainment in quarterly business reviews

Field based position, some travel required: territory covers biotech, pharma & major academic accounts in the north and west bay area including the San Diego California area
What will convince us:

Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry (typically evidenced by a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience)

3+ years of relevant field sales experience in capital equipment, life sciences

Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

Working knowledge of CRM (Salesforce preferred), Tableau and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)

Self-motivated, energetic, results oriented, hard working

A team player with the ability to work effectively with all levels throughout an organization

Compensation for this position will be a base salary between $90,000.00 and $130,000.00 depending upon experience and qualifications. Commissions for this position generally range up to 30% of a candidate’s base salary. (Higher starting salaries may be available in other locations based on geographic differentials.)
