What we need

We are seeking a talented Senior Copywriter with a unique blend of skills in conceptual storytelling, technical, product and marketing copywriting. The ideal candidate will have experience crafting compelling copy for both B2B and B2C audiences, demonstrating a keen understanding of various brands’ tone of voice. This individual should be highly organized, adaptable, and possess a proactive attitude towards problem-solving and collaboration.

Telementum is a platform for investments in the wireless accessories space and is a partnership between McCarthy Capital, a private equity firm headquartered in Omaha, NE, and the management teams of its wireless accessory holdings (Alphacomm + Speck).

 

Responsibilities

·        Write engaging and persuasive copy for a variety of mediums including, but not limited to packaging, websites, landing pages, POP, email campaigns, social media, product descriptions, sales collateral, and more.

·        Translate technical concepts and features into clear, concise, and customer-centric messaging.

·        Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure accuracy in copy.

·        Craft compelling copy that maintains consistency in brand voice and tone, brand guidelines, target audience, compliance, and overall project goals.

·        Conduct thorough research as needed to understand complex topics and industry trends to inform copywriting strategies and present our brands in the most effective way.

·        Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in copywriting and content marketing.

·        Proofread and edit content to ensure consistency, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.

·        Work with the marketing, legal, and product teams to ensure work is on brand and legally compliant.

·        Prioritize multiple projects and deliver highly effective, accurate and creative work.

·        Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, English, or related field.

·        Proven experience (5-7 years) working as a copywriter, preferably in a B2B/B2C environment.

·        A passion for writing with an eye for detail and a desire for perfection.

·        Experience in writing strong, succinct copy that is grammatically correct.

·        Ability to write copy for multiple audiences e.g.: consumers, buyers, sales associates, and internal.

·        Proficiency in technical writing, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences.

·        Excellent research skills and a willingness to learn about new industries and products.

·        Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

·        Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

·        Familiarity with SEO best practices is a plus.
