A DAY IN A LIFE
You can expect your days to be pretty varied at Teleport. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:
Key Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and update test documentation including test plans, test scripts, and test reports.
- Review and understand product requirements to create comprehensive test strategies.
- Perform test case design, implementation, and execution for both functional and non-functional requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Appium, etc.)
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong desire to learn new technologies and grow as an engineer.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and tools (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Exposure to Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
