Position Summary
This role performs clerical/secretarial tasks in support of the school consolidation process under general guidance
of professional personnel including preparation of correspondence, reports and other documents.
Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities
1. Assists staff and public as needed.
2. Greets visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
3. Maintains and assists with operation of office equipment/machines as needed.
4. Makes routine decisions in accordance with established priorities and policies.
5. Schedules meetings and appointments for administrative staff and maintain calendar for administrator.
6. Receives incoming calls, take accurate messages and direct to appropriate staff.
7. Performs general office procedures including typing, filing, mail, duplication of materials, data processing,
editing and general bookkeeping/recordkeeping.
8. Prepares and edits correspondence /reports for supervisor.
9. Assists with processing department reports, documents, directed by administrator.
10. Maintains general office files: save/store required documents per policy and administrative procedures.
11. Creates and maintains spreadsheets to document and track department initiatives.
12. Participates in district and campus staff development programs that improve job related skills.
13. Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities
expected for this position.

Work Environment:
Frequent exposure to: temperature extremes, humidity extremes, noise, low or intense illumination, vibration,
biological hazards, working on uneven surfaces, working alone, working prolonged or irregular hours.
Physical Demands/Requirements:
Maintain emotional control under stress; work with frequent interruptions/deadlines; frequent sitting, standing,
walking, climbing, balancing, pulling and pushing; reaching, repetitive hand motions, hearing, speaking clearly,
visual acuity and prolonged data input; occasional lift/carry light, moderate 15-44 pounds.
