As a Financial Analyst, you will participate in all aspects of financial management, including planning, reporting, forecasting, and analysis, and will provide primary support to the Manager, Sales Finance (MSF) for the Atlantis region.In your role, you will utilize analytics to uncover valuable insights that inform strategic business decisions across the sales region. Your role is critical in fostering trust among distributors, wholesalers, and sales teams to sustain growth, profitability, and brand attractiveness for CBI.As a business partner, you will interact frequently with the Commercial Finance team, all levels of the Atlantis Region sales team, and with distributor personnel. The ability to work cross-functionally is essential to this position.Job Responsibilities• Lead monthly close process:• Review state-level margins and P&L statements thoroughly to assist in identifying irregularities, and effectively communicate key findings to the Sales Team.• Support monthly non-price forecasting processes including financial reporting packages, variance analysis and posting to Anaplan.• Prepare financial reporting packages and evaluate financial performance leveraging actual results against plans and forecasts.• Analyze financial data and create financial models to make strategic recommendations to be presented to leadership.• Oversee distributor bank reconciliations, ensuring invoices are submitted promptly and with meticulous attention to accuracy.• Book accruals and re-class entries as needed.• Assist as regional support during the annual planning process, particularly relating to key activities tied to rate updates, reporting, and collaborative business planning meetings.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting capabilities and accuracy, offering recommendations for improvements and assistance as needed.• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.Qualifications RequiredEducation/Experience• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting.• 1-3 years combined experience in financial analysis and accounting. Experience working with a sales organization is preferred.Technical• Solid knowledge of key finance and accounting concepts.• Proven analytical skills; experience with identifying insights and translating them into actional strategies.• Excellent Microsoft suite proficiency, including superior Excel skills.• Knowledge of planning and financial reporting systems (Anaplan, SAP, MicroStrategy, Circana (IRI)) and/or ability to learn proprietary systems and in-house system applications quickly.Professional• Excellent communication and interaction skills, both oral and written.• Strong customer service orientation is required with ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, build strong relationships, initiate action, and adjust to change, are key competencies of this role.• Requires one to be a team player with a positive attitude, highly motivated, curious, detail oriented and able to work with a variety of people at all levels.LocationRochester, New YorkAdditional LocationsVirtual Location - USJob TypeFull timeJob AreaFinance & AccountingThe salary range for this role is:$56,200.00 - $115,400.00This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
