About the role
We’re excited to be recruiting for the brand-new role of Finance Analyst – Operations. The Finance Operations team are responsible for Global COGS and Logistics Costs and act as key business partners to the Supply Chain and Procurement teams at Charlotte Tilbury. This role will primarily look after the day-to-day management of Logistics, Warehousing and Freight Costs, maintaining sound controls and driving process improvements on an ongoing basis.

As a Finance Analyst you will

  • Be responsible for posting month end accruals for Logistics and ensuring invoices are validated, posted and mapped correctly, working closely with Accounts Payable and Supply Chain teams
  • Prepare month end commentary for your cost areas and support Regional Finance teams in understanding their Logistics costs
  • Manage OPEX trackers for Supply Chain and Procurement Functions, including regular communication with budget holders to track costs, and owning the preparation of annual budgets and regular reforecasts
  • Support the Senior Manager and Senior Analyst with annual budget and regular reforecast activities for COGS and Logistics, including preparation of timelines, maintaining budget templates and coordinating with stakeholders
  • Support with external Audit queries and maintain sound controls in all activities
  • Identify process improvements in all tasks to reduce manual workload and drive efficiencies
  • Assist the Senior Manager with ad-hoc tasks and analysis as and when required to support the Director of Group FP&A, CFO and Global Supply Chain Director

Who you will work with

  • This role reports into the Senior Finance Manager for Operations and will work closely with the Senior Finance Analyst for Operations
  • You will have close working relationships with our Regional Finance, Accounts Payable, Internal Control and Supply Chain teams

About you

  • Part Qualified or looking to embark on your professional qualification journey (ACA/CIMA/ACCA equivalent)
  • Experience of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Curious and eager to learn, with a flexible and proactive approach
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to think logically and methodically
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, having the confidence to communicate clearly with Finance colleagues and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise workload effectively within a fast paced, scaling business
