Backend Software Engineer, Identity
The New York Times is looking for a creative engineer to contribute to the development of next-generation identity platforms used by millions of readers daily.
Skills
- Go programming language
- Cloud-based distributed systems (AWS/GCP)
- Kubernetes/EKS
- GraphQL APIs
- SQL and relational databases
Responsibilities
- Create and support scalable, performant, and fault-tolerant systems
- Design intuitive data schemas for user identity and accounts
- Design and implement GraphQL resolvers and backend services
- Develop standards, libraries, and processes for smooth integration with other teams
- Improve code quality through test automation, code reviews, and best practices
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
