Theatrical Accounting Associate (LA or NY)

A24 is looking for an Theatrical Accounting Associate to manage the receivables and payables processes between A24 and external partners and vendors. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver who is highly organized and diligent with the ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally. We are open to NY or LA based candidates..

Responsibilities

• Invoice and collect film rental from theatrical exhibitors 
• Create purchase orders and process incoming invoices from third party vendors
• Input and apply payments in our theatrical distribution software (TDS)
• Import and audit box office reports (BORs) using TDS
• Reconcile payments and receivables with weekly reporting
• Own quality assurance in TDS, ensuring all information is accurate
• Assist in any ad-hoc projections

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of experience with payables/collections and/or theatrical distribution preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree (or commensurate experience) with coursework in Accounting or related field preferred
• Comfortable with large data sets
• Strong work ethic and drive for results
• Ability to stay organized
• Detail-oriented
• Strong communicator with the ability to maintain good relationships internally and externally
• Problem-solver
• Humble, diligent, resourceful

Our target hourly rate for this position is between $21 and $23. We do not use formal job titles internally and similarly named positions may have different compensation levels. Actual starting salary within the range will depend on various considerations, including: work experience, skills, specializations, and training. This role is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, including both cash and equity components, competitive healthcare, as well as other employee benefits.
