Backend Engineer (Python & Java)

We’re looking for a Backend Engineer with solid expertise in Python and Java to help build the powerful infrastructure behind our growing platform. This is a fully remote opportunity for LATAM-based talent, offering the chance to work on scalable, high-performance backend systems in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and Java                  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features                
• Ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of backend systems                    
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code                       
• Implement best practices for API design, data security, and data handling                 
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes                    
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly and effectively                      
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements                    

•  Proven experience in backend development with Python and Java                 
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field                 
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and integration                  
• Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL)                     
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus                 
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is advantageous              
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail               
• Strong communication skills in English (must)         
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting                                  
• Passionate about building high-quality backend systems                
• Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies
