The Role
As a Business Operations Manager, you’ll play a critical role in optimizing Togetherhood’s core operations, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and data-driven decision-making. Your initial focus will be on revenue operations, streamlining sales and marketing efforts, maintaining data integrity across systems, and refining financial processes. Your work will be 75% systems-building and management, 25% tactical execution, making this a high-impact role in our growing company.
What You’ll Work On
• Revenue Operations
- Sales & Marketing Automation: Automate and optimize sales, marketing, and customer management processes.
- Data Integrity & Insights: Ensure accurate data across CRM, marketing tools, and finance systems while identifying key metrics to drive strategic decisions.
- Partnership & Customer Modeling: Build models to evaluate new business opportunities and optimize customer acquisition strategies.
- Test & Learn Workstream: Design and execute experiments to improve operational workflows and marketing effectiveness.
• Financial Planning & Budgeting
- FP&A: Support financial modeling, forecasting, and resource allocation in collaboration with the finance team.
- A/R Management: Refine and streamline accounts receivable processes to improve cash flow and reduce inefficiencies.
• Cross-Functional Execution: Work with product, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless execution of key initiatives.
• Generative AI Exploration: Identify and implement AI-driven solutions to enhance efficiency in marketing automation, content generation, and operational processes.
• General Operations: Take on ad hoc challenges, from system improvements to process innovation, to keep the business running smoothly.
Who You Are
• 3-5 years in management consulting, business operations, or finance-related roles, ideally with exposure to payments or financial workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in Excel and financial modeling.
• Comfortable working in fast-moving environments with multiple priorities.
• Strong project management skills, able to build and optimize operational processes.
• A clear communicator who collaborates effectively across teams and levels.
• Excited about AI and emerging technologies—you’re eager to experiment with generative AI and find innovative ways to integrate it into business operations.
• Passionate about startups and EdTech, with a drive to contribute to a mission-driven marketplace.
