Are you a skilled and experienced professional in lien negotiations looking to take the next step in your career?

TorkLaw is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Lien Negotiations Supervisor to lead our team and enhance our lien resolution processes. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a law firm committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients.

As a Personal Injury Lien Reduction Supervisor at TorkLaw, you will oversee our liens department, working closely with medical providers, insurance companies, and other relevant parties to secure optimal resolutions. Your efforts will directly contribute to ensuring our clients receive the compensation they deserve.

If you have a proven track record of successfully negotiating and reducing medical liens in the personal injury field, we want to hear from you! This is a full-time position with excellent opportunities

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor a team of medical lien negotiators to ensure effective negotiation practices and strategies are employed.
  • Oversee, review, and approve lien negotiation agreements and settlements to ensure they align with the firm's standards and client objectives.
  • Conduct frequent training sessions for staff on best practices in lien negotiations, updates in laws, and changes in medical billing processes.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to develop comprehensive lien negotiation strategies tailored to individual cases.
  • Monitor and analyze lien negotiation metrics and adjust strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.

  • 5+ Proven experience in lien negotiations in personal injury.
  • Previous supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of medical billing, statutory liens (Medicare, Medicaid, ERISA), and negotiation strategies.
  • Outstanding leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus, but not required.

In addition to a competitive salary, this position will receive the following benefits:

  • Laptops are replaced every 3 years. After 3 years, your work laptop will become your personal laptop.

TorkLaw is a multi-state employer, as such, any salary range provided may not be applicable in all states. Any offer made to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include years of experience, education, location, etc.
