Position Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for supervising a team of warehouse associates, ensuring smooth and efficient operations in receiving, VAS (Value added Service), and shipping. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Supervision:
    • Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance and support.
    • Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure productivity and accuracy.
    • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates.
  1. Warehouse Operations:
    • Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, VAS, packing, and shipping.
    • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize workflow.
    • Coordinate with other departments, such as Sales Operation and Returns, to ensure seamless operations.
    • Address and resolve any operational issues or challenges promptly.
  1. Inventory Control:
    • Assist in managing inventory levels to ensure accurate stock counts and availability.
    • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
    • Implement inventory control measures to minimize loss and improve accuracy.
  1. Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to implement changes.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and enhance warehouse performance.
    • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  1. Training and Development:
    • Train new and existing warehouse associates on SOPs, safety protocols, and best practices.
    • Provide ongoing coaching and development to enhance team skills and performance.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork and growth.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), Microsoft Office, and other relevant software.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.

 

Salary $75K - $90K BOE
