Thompson Pipe Group, Pressure Division, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Industrial manufacturing supervisor to join our dedicated team, contributing their expertise to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing operations. This is a fast-paced environment where teamwork and commitment to excellence are paramount.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide supervision and direction to all team members to ensure production targets.
Assigns work to department personnel to attain department objectives using knowledge of production processes, company policies, production schedules, work orders, equipment capacity and employee capabilities.
Read and understand project drawings and specifications.
Ensure 100% product document traceability is kept up to date.
Provides training, support, direction, and guidance to department personnel to continually develop their work habits, job skills and safety practices.
Evaluates employee performance and accountability
Recommends and initiates improvements to production processes, to increase manufacturing efficiency.
Set department goals and develop outline for achievement.
May be exposed to excessive noise, welding gases and fumes, and varying weather conditions.
To work overtime as required based on company needs.
Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Five years production supervisory experience in an industrial manufacturing environment is a MUST.
Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving and strong prioritization skills.
Meet schedule deadlines in a dynamic and sometimes demanding work environment.
Team player with a high level of dedication.
Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment required
Knowledge of concrete application methods, both manual and mechanical.
Excellent verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to exercise initiative, sound judgment and effective time management in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision

WORK ENVIROMENT

· The work environment is not climate controlled and is subject to outdoor weather conditions. Team members are exposed to sounds and noise levels that are distracting.

Work Hours

Monday-Friday (Mandatory OT Saturdays based on business needs)
Holidays off

Our Location: Palatka, FL

Must pass Pre-employment Physical, Respiratory, and drug testing.
