LEARNING TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT SPECIALIST

SUMMARY: Maintains and ensures effective administration of the Trivie learning technology platform, including posting new content, ensuring accurate audience assignments and assessment scoring, documenting processes and policies, developing reports and queries for a variety of internal and external constituents, testing, and troubleshooting administrative and user technical issues.


  • Maintains learning technology platform to include basic troubleshooting and fixing user issues through answering questions and troubleshooting problems for end users by phone and email.

  • Creates, revises, and modifies learning activities in the learning technology platform. Audits system data to ensure accuracy.

  • Develops and documents processes or policies as needed to establish consistent use of the system including email templates, reports, dashboards, and rule-based workflows.
  • Educates clients and end users on system capabilities.

  • Establishes and assigns user roles and access. Manages training records, user permissions, and groups.

  • Uploads, publishes, and tests assignment modules and other changes made to/within the learning technology platform ensuring proper functionality, accurate audience assignment, and assessment scoring.

  • Assists with the installation of system updates and upgrades within the learning technology platform.

  • Compiles and communicates performance metrics for assignments in order to measure training effectiveness.

  • Makes recommendations on future improvements to content management, workflow processes, and user experience.


  • Communicates with learning technology platform vendor to ensure system accessibility and technical standards are maintained to ensure positive and effective end user experience.
