Job Summary

The Data Engineer is a self-driven professional who is able to articulate well the work they are doing meet with senior leaders explain the work required to complete a project and provide estimates.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, AWS, and BigQuery to support data integration needs across the organization.

  • Create and manage automated workflows for data processing, ensuring that data is ready for analysis and insights.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and optimize digital consumer identities, graphs, and audience insights, enhancing data-driven decision-making.

  • Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance, ensuring reliability and efficiency in data processing and storage.

  • Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and external vendors to understand data requirements and deliver robust solutions.

  • Maintain thorough documentation of data architecture, workflows, and best practices, ensuring knowledge sharing and adherence to standards.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience in Data Engineering, focusing on building and maintaining data platforms and pipelines.

  • Deep understanding of data engineering principles and modern data platforms, including Snowflake, BigQuery, and AWS.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues efficiently.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling eJective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
