Position: Senior Frontend Engineer - AI Agents (m/f/d)

Location of the role: Germany/Spain (Remote)

As a Senior Front-End Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our customer and end-user-facing applications. You’ll ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code while working in an Agile team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Your expertise will help deliver outstanding user experiences through well-crafted, performant, and visually appealing interfaces.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with React, TypeScript, and integrating with back-end APIs. AI experience is a plus but not required—however, an interest in AI and large language models is highly valued.

• Designing and developing a high-performance front-end that enables our customers to create AI-driven agents for guest assistance.
• Creating scalable, maintainable UI architectures that support seamless agent interactions.
• Championing user-centric design, ensuring an intuitive experience for hotels managing their AI-powered agents.

• Developing dynamic, interactive single-page applications using React and TypeScript.
• Seamlessly integrating with back-end services via REST APIs.
• Optimizing performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth user interactions across all devices.
• Writing clean, modular, and reusable code following modern best practices.

• Implementing robust testing strategies (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to maintain reliability.
• Improving build processes, CI/CD pipelines, and front-end tooling for faster, more efficient development.
• Keeping up with the latest front-end trends and technologies to enhance our stack.

• Partnering with designers, product managers, and back-end engineers to craft seamless experiences.
• Contributing to front-end architecture decisions, ensuring scalability and long-term maintainability.

• Professional Experience:
• At least 7 years (ideally 10+ years) of experience in software development, including a minimum of 5 years in React and Typescript.
• Proven track record of building and optimizing complex, high-performance web applications.
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong proficiency in React, NextJS and TypeScript, with deep knowledge of front-end architecture and state management (e.g., Redux, zustand, React Query).
• Hands-on experience integrating with REST APIs, and working with complex or proprietary data sources.
• Familiarity with front-end build tools, bundlers, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Vite, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Expertise in performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Experience with event-driven UI architectures and real-time data processing is a plus.
• Soft Skills & Work Approach:

• Team-player mindset with the ability to technically lead and inspire others.
• Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus), enabling effective collaboration.
