U-Box Shipping Operations Support Summer Intern

Become part of a team:

U-Box, part of U-Haul's dynamic Shipping division, is looking for dedicated, growth-oriented individuals to join us as Shipping Operations Support. This role oversees the clerical, organizational, and support tasks within U-Box’s Shipping department. Responsibilities include updating and maintaining critical data in U-Haul’s and transport partner’s systems. This internship starts on June 2nd and will run for at least 10 weeks.

This is a fully onsite internship located at our corporate campus in Midtown Phoenix.

Duties Include:

• Learning the U-Box supply chain logistical model.

• Interacting with U-Haul field personnel via phone and email.

• Updating, correcting, and maintaining shipment data used by U-Haul locations.

• Efficiently manage billing and shipping data from our transportation partners.

• Facilitate billing processes for the U-Haul field and carrier network.

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word.

• Knowledge of Excel a plus. 

• Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly.

• Detail oriented and organized.

• Confident and independent in decision making.

• Great attitude and true professionalism.
