IT Services is customer-focused and committed to collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability.We are looking for a talented Business systems analyst who will be facilitating business process analysis for multiple technical projects in support of various campus-wide IT initiatives. Business Systems Analyst will work collaboratively on cross-functional teams to meet strategic objectives. This position will work on a selection of projects across the realms of academic and business systems.Responsibilities:• Gain solid understanding of what the business does and how it does it• Responsible for participating in process design workshops, interviewing and communicating with stakeholders to generate a rich picture of business needs.• Translate business needs identified by stakeholders into business requirements document.• Tracking requirements to development and testing• Partner closely with project manager, process analysts, SMEs and project team members to optimize project deliverables.• Gather information from various sources, consolidate data and present it in form of dashboards, graphs and charts.• Delivering recommendations and reports to stakeholders, creating process improvement reports and summarizing the impact of results• Support user acceptance testing by providing input for test plans/ test scripts to ensure that the product is functioning well as it is designed for.QUALIFICATIONS• Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.• General knowledge of business and process analysis functions.• Intermediate knowledge of related areas of IT.SPECIAL CONDITIONS• Job offer is contingent upon satisfactory clearance based on background check results.• Occasional evenings and weekends may be required.• Employee must be available to travel as required.Pay Transparency ActAnnual Full Pay Range: $69,500 - $123,500 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)Hourly Equivalent: $33.29 - $59.15Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.
