Pay Philosophy

The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Are you seeking a flexible, hybrid work schedule that allows you to work an exciting career in inside sales? Liberty Mutual is hiring for Commercial Inside Sales Representatives to work in Plano, TX. This position requires agents to live 50 miles or less from Plano, TX. We offer a flexible hybrid schedule that allows agents to work both in-person at Plano, TX office and remotely.

Job Description:

Are you ready for an exhilarating career opportunity? Join our team and unleash your potential as a Commercial Inside Insurance Sales Representative! You will receive a majority of inbound calls from both existing and new customers/agents searching for a Liberty Mutual commercial insurance policy.

 

Our focus is not only on sales but also on providing outstanding client service. As a Commercial Inside Sales Representative, you will gather information to provide informed tailored insurance proposals based on the caller’s unique needs.

 

The Commercial Inside Sales Representative position is ideal for applicants with insurance experience or service / sales professionals without experience looking to enter the insurance industry.

 

Compensation:  $58,000 - $65,000 expected first year total compensation.

  • $45,000 base salary + uncapped monthly sales incentive.
  • Comprehensive benefits from Day 1, including health and dental insurance, 401K, paid time off, and flexible work arrangements to help you keep balance in your personal and professional life.

 

Schedule:

Unlicensed training begins June 16th, 2025 & licensed training begins June 30th, 2025.

We provide comprehensive training for new hires, offering paid training of either 6 weeks licensed or 8 weeks for those seeking to obtain a Property and Casualty producer license. During training, the hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm (PST) or 9am-5:30pm (CST). Your initial shift post training will fall within operating hours and will be assigned based on performance and overall business needs.

​Licensed Sales Center operating hours:

  • Monday- Saturday 5:00am to 5:00pm (PST)
  • Monday- Saturday 7:00am to 7:00pm (CST)

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of customer service, sales, or insurance experience.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to think, talk, and type efficiently while engaging with customers.
  • Must reside within 50 miles of Dallas / Plano, TX; position is hybrid and may require agents to work both in office and remotely.
  • High school diploma, college preferred.
  • Ability to obtain required resident and non-resident insurance licenses.
  • Ability to work during Licensed Sales Center operating hours.
