Summary   

 

We are looking for a Regional Recruiter to assist with the hiring needs/initiatives of the Western Region. This position will support the research, development, and implementation of effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.


*Salary starting at $65k/yr, this is open to negotiation.*

Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with department managers and proactively identifies future hiring needs.  
  • Build candidate pipelines to support requisitions across multiple skill sets and functions. 
  • Attract and recruit candidates using various means, including databases, social media networks, and referrals. 
  • Develop and update job descriptions, job specifications, offer letters, and other recruitment materials. 
  • Post jobs to appropriate job boards/newspapers/colleges, etc. 
  • Screen candidates resumes and job applications, conduct interviews, and extend offers or rejections.  
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes.
  • Manage interview schedules, itineraries, and travel, as well as candidate feedback sessions. 
  • Communicate status updates and coordinate changes with hiring managers and candidates. 
  • Establish professional relationships with local organizations to participate in job fairs or networking events. 
  • May train or mentor junior staff. 


Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma and 4+ years of recruiting experience (or equal combination of education and experience). 
  • AEC experience
  • Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record. 
  • Good knowledge of state and federal hiring laws, standards, and best practices. 
  • Comfort with recruiting technologies, job boards, and standard office and collaboration software. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain the integrity of confidential information. 
  • Ability to adapt to a changing work environment while fostering good relationships at all levels. 
  • Exceptional listening, reading, communication (written & verbal), and problem-solving skills. 
  • Bilingual language skills desirable, but not required.
