This is a full-time position that reports to a Senior Learning Experience Designer in the Office of Academic and Learning Innovation (ALI). As a Learning Experience Designer, this position works directly with faculty, student assistants, and platform managers, as well as with teaching and learning technologies, to design and produce creative, meaningful, and innovative learning experiences for both non-credit and for-credit online course offerings and programs. The incumbent consults with faculty to adapt and iterate on existing course materials for online delivery, engaging in course design from ideation to development to analytics, and building brand new next- generation learning experiences from the ground up. This job is largely remote, with occasional onsite meetings required. Our work spans innovative on-campus program development, MOOCs, scaled online courses, programs, and degrees, and designing new business and technical processes to support our academic vision.What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be- Course development: Work directly with faculty as a pedagogical and instructional consultant to design and build student-centered online courses and programs, support the development of technical assessments for code-based learning experiences, and [JB1] track and communicate development status and blockers with collaborators- Course iteration: Lead maintenance and iteration of existing courses and programs, engage with student and team member feedback, apply quality assurance methods for continuous improvement, and produce and implement actionable improvement plans- Emerging tools and technologies: Research and implement established and emergent educational tools and technologies to (1) support learning outcomes and teaching strategies and (2) foster transformational student learning experiences- Resource development: Create and maintain course development resources, templates, and trainings for faculty, staff and student assistants- Other: Perform additional job duties as required; this position is flexible and responsive to emergent needs and responsibilitiesWhat You Should KnowRemote work modality offered.What We Can OfferThe annual salary for this full-time position is $57,120 - $61,154.BenefitsThe University of Colorado offers excellent benefits (https://www.colorado.edu/jobs/benefits) , including medical, dental, retirement, paid time off, tuition benefit and ECO Pass.
