JOB SUMMARY:
Develops and maintains data collection, measurement tools, and databases to support data analysis in support of health improvement initiatives, value-based care programs, and other health outcome data monitoring requirements. Supports program implementation, measurement and assessment by developing reports, dashboards, scorecards, and other analytic results as necessary to support activities related to accountable care, managed care, remote patient monitoring and other goals. Manages technical aspects of health analytics to support operational needs and serves as the subject matter expert to support population health regarding claims data, value-based payer contracts, quality data and CRISP data. Develops and implements business development initiatives, business plans, clinical programs, population health and community outreach programs and key strategic partnerships.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Education & Training:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing or related field required. Master’s Degree is preferred.
Work Orientation & Experience:
Minimum two (2) years’ previous experience in health system or hospital industry with one (1) year of experience in health care strategy development required.
Skills & Abilities:
Data literacy (ability to read, write, and communicate data in context)
Conceptual analytical and quantitative skills.
Strong writing skills and ability to synthesize and summarize key information for action
Data collection, manipulation, and analysis skills.
Comfort with working in a self-driven, start-up environment.
Interest in and active pursuit of opportunities to learn and grow, and ability to handle multiple demands, shifting priorities, crises, and rapid change
Knowledge of management, business planning, finance, and healthcare.
Working knowledge of finance, accounting, financial models, healthcare data, market and competitive analysis techniques.
Skill in report testing, and supporting end users in report testing process
Able to manage multiple tasks in an uncertain and fast-paced environment
Excellent analytical and/or operational problem-solving skills; demonstrates ability to conduct and interpret quantitative/qualitative analyses and make recommendations for improvement/changes
Knowledge of health insurance claims structure and analytics, including GPRO/HEDIS Quality measures, risk adjustment methodologies, efficiency of care and utilization metrics.
Experience with large data sets, clinical quality measures, and claims analysis. Advanced skills in Excel and ease with data management (i.e. MS Access, SQL)
Skill in oral and written communication and time management with ability to effectively present to and facilitate groups
