This individual will enthusiastically promote the broad array of career service support offerings to our employer partners.Associate Director, Global Sector LeadWe are seeking a successful, experienced Management Consulting professional familiar with early career talent acquisition practices across the global professional services industry. This individual will serve in a hybrid role, as industry relationship manager and student career preparation coach. (internally referred to as "Global Sector Lead") This individual will promote the services we offer and prepare strategic recommendations that best support the employer talent acquisition objective(s). This individual joins a team of experienced industry professionals who advise and coach students regarding career opportunities and job search strategies .Responsibilities and DutiesManages and expands corporate relationships with current and prospective recruiting partners in the Consulting and Professional Services IndustryCommunicates the value proposition of the various Marshall MBA and MS graduate degree programs to employers, including curriculum coursework, program admission requirements, and student population demographics.Consults and collaborates with employers in the development and execution of strategic recruiting plans to support the organization's full-time and internship roles matching the skills and interest with MBA and MS candidates.Educates students about the various company business models, industry trends and future employment opportunities.Educates and coaches students on strategies to best present their value, skill set and unique differentiation to achieve a competitive advantage in their consulting industry job search.Partners with graduate student led organizations on career education and recruitment preparation activities, such as skill development, career panels, company visits, and alumni mentorships.Builds and maintains an active advocate alumni network of employed professionals who assist as subject matter experts, student mentors and advisors to the career services office.Maintains effective and frequent communication variety of constituencies (i.e., students, career center colleagues, employer partners, and faculty)Administrative tasks assigned include: 12Twenty database management & email marketing support; operational assistance in the planning and execution of all on-campus and virtual recruiting events (multi-company; presentations; networking; coffee chats & interviews); evaluate external vendor resources, negotiate contract, and supervise service implementation; supervise student Peer CoachesTravels as necessary off campus to employer sites for business development meetings, on-site company visits with students, attendance at conferences, career education/skill-building, alumni, and other professional association networking events.Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree (MBA strongly preferred)8+ years' full-time, progressive career path in the consulting/professional services industryPrior experience and involvement in early career talent MBA recruitingDemonstrated competencies in relationship management, business development or partnerships held in prior career roles.Minimum QualificationsMinimum Education: Bachelor's degreeMinimum Experience: 3 years full-time work experience in consulting/professional servicesMinimum Field of Expertise: Work experience in early career university talent acquisition, experience in counseling and career services and advisement.Anticipated Hiring RangeThe annual base salary range for this position is $80,019 - $93,277 - $106,561. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.Work ArrangementOn-site full time on campus with the ability to work evenings and occasional weekends.
