Job Summary:The Department of Gender and Women's Studies at UW-Madison is seeking a visiting assistant professor for the AY 2025-26 to teach a 2:2 teaching load. The position is approved for one year; a one-year renewal might be possible but not guaranteed.Gender +/or Sexuality and Health: We are seeking applications from scholars whose research focuses broadly on gender and/or sexuality and health from any disciplinary perspective. Applicants whose research focuses on reproduction, disability, +/or global perspectives are especially encouraged to apply.Responsibilities:In addition to advancing their research, successful applicants will be expected to teach two courses in Fall 2025 and two in Spring 2026 for the Department of Gender and Women's Studies. One of the courses may be a large, introductory survey course that requires the supervision of a teaching team.
