D365 CRM Developer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CRM Developer for a 12-15 month project to transition a highly customized on-premises Dynamics 365 (D365) Customer Service environment to an online platform. This role will involve collaboration with a small, dedicated team, that includes a Project Manager, Business Analyst, and Web Developer. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in D365, strong development skills, and prior migration experience.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead development efforts for migrating on-premises D365 Customer Service to the online platform.
  • Design and configure D365 solutions, including dashboards, apps, and security models.
  • Implement and optimize system views, queries, and FetchXML for data visualization and reporting.
  • Customize and develop plugins, workflows, and actions using C#, .NET Framework, and TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Integrate third-party systems and APIs using Postman, Azure Functions, and TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Replace deprecated features and retire third-party libraries such as jQuery.
  • Utilize SSRS and Power BI to create and maintain data-driven reports and dashboards.
  • Employ best practices in solution management using tools like XrmToolbox and KingswaySoft.
  • Ensure smooth CI/CD pipeline management with Azure DevOps.
  • Support legacy systems and integrations, such as IBM mainframe data sources, SQL, and SSIS.


Required Qualifications
  • Expertise in D365 Customer Service, both on-premises and online.
  • Experience with dashboards, app creation, security models, FetchXML, and XrmToolbox.
  • Proven experience in migration from on-premises to online environments.
  • Proficient in D365 solution management and development best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Visual Studio 2022, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Client APIs.
  • Strong understanding of plugin development and execution pipelines in C#/Dotnet Framework 4.6.1.
  • Knowledge of workflows, actions, and custom workflow steps using C#/.NET Framework 4.6.1.
  • Expertise in API development, testing with Postman, and Azure Functions (Dotnet Core 8.0).
  • Familiarity with Azure components such as App Registrations, Azure AD, Key Vault, Managed Identities, and Resource Groups.
  • Experience with SSRS capabilities, constraints, and Power BI for D365 environments.


Bonus Qualifications
  • Proficiency in SQL for database management and optimization.
  • Knowledge of DevOps, agile/scrum methodologies, and CI/CD pipeline management.
  • Azure Functions - Storage Accounts, Application Insights
  • Experience with DB3 integration (IBM mainframe data sources).
  • Familiarity with Windows Services (writing/consuming), Windows Server Certificates
  • Prior experience working with SSIS
  • Expertise in source control systems like Git or Azure DevOps.
