Summary
This role is responsible for characterizing and verifying GNSS Product (antennas, receivers, and integrated systems) performance in accordance with the technical requirements approved for the product. The test engineer will be responsible to define the test plans and to create standardized tests that can be run on updated and new GNSS products as part of the design and verification phase of product development.
Responsibilities
Develop test procedures and tools to test GNSS products
Perform bench testing of GNSS receivers, antennas, and integrated systems
Field verification testing of GNSS receivers, antennas, and integrated systems
Support Compliance testing of GNSS products
Perform analysis of test data to characterize performance and understand and identify root causes of hardware, software, or system issues.
Generate test and performance reports, and present findings to project stakeholders
Contribute to competitive analysis testing and assessment exercises.
Qualifications
BS in Geomatics engineering, Electrical engineering or related fields.
2+ years of field test experience testing GNSS products.
Practical knowledge of GNSS Radio Frequency (RF) verification
Hands-on experience with bench-level GNSS testing, debug at the module, reference board or system-level
Experience using RF lab test equipment (e.g. Power meter, Network analyzer, Spectrum analyzer, signal generator, etc.)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
US Candidates the base pay range $109k - 135k is a projected hiring range for a position, level and potential work location(s) listed. Topcon provides the compensation range that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule.
