As a Building Code Enforcement Field Representative at Verisk in Gainesville, FL, you will be essential in ensuring that our communities adhere to building codes and construction standards. This role involves consulting with clients, analyzing their adoption of relevant codes, and participating in building plan reviews—essentially making sure that our environments are safe and compliant. Your day will be split between office verification and fieldwork, where you’ll gather data through observations and measurements to advise on best practices. Verisk values quality and timely service, so it’s crucial that your work reflects our high standards. You'll even get a chance to mentor less experienced colleagues, helping them grow in their expertise. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or similar experience, along with at least one year of building code knowledge. While field experience is preferred, what’s more important is your ability to communicate effectively and provide exceptional customer service.
