We're looking for a talented Senior Pricing Analyst to join our Pricing team!


The Pricing team's vision is to deliver trusted insights and revenue optimization strategies for business stakeholders. More specifically, the Senior Pricing Analyst is responsible for developing pricing strategies to maximize revenue, and market share, for Versapay’s SaaS products.  This role will make impactful contributions that include developing key insights from large data sets, conducting qualitative and quantitative research to deliver pricing recommendations, building business cases for new monetization strategies, ensuring effective governance of pricing standards are applied and relaying insights through dashboards and visualizations to support decision-making by business stakeholders. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to create demonstrable value within our GTM strategy.


What you'll do:
  • Systematically deconstruct revenue and profitability by product, vertical, ERP (ex. Business Central, SAP, Oracle, Acumatica, SYSPRO, etc.) pricing strategy, and profitability models.
  • Foster a culture of data-informed decision making and hypothesis-driven experimentation.
  • Translate deal requirements into thoughtful, well-designed business cases that encourage further exploration and drive value.
  • Expertly wield quantitative and qualitative analysis to uncover the next best actions for GTM teams.
  • Institute best practices in the areas of billing, pricing governance, and audit automation.
  • Collaborate with Deal desk and sales team to develop class-leading self-service models to enable expedited and repetitive deal closures.
  • Distill complex pricing scenarios into compelling stories with recommendations with ability to present to key stakeholders. Instill credibility in our output through strict governance standards and strong documentation of pricing policy and process controls.
  • Blend natural curiosity with an ability to navigate ambiguity to solve problems, and to drive GTM pricing strategy across various channels and partners.


What you'll bring to the team:
  • 4+ years of professional experience with advanced software pricing (SaaS), revenue optimization, statistical analysis, and usage of BI tools, preferably with Tableau, experience in Payments and with Salesforce is a plus but not required.
  • Passion for advanced analytics techniques – demonstrate a knack for surfacing hidden opportunities through application of quantitative methods.
  • Outstanding business acumen and attention to detail – understand the drivers of our revenue creation and how to drive value to the customer. Translate business value into customer willingness to pay and transform into insightful analyses.
  • Superior quantitative thinking and experience in the quest to help stakeholders understand profitability and opportunity.
  • Degree in Statistics, Applied Math, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with analytical methods and tools, such as SQL, SAS, R or Python.
  • Flexibility and adaptability that meets the needs of an evolving work environment
