As the Vice President, Pricing & Packaging Strategy, you will be responsible for our reach and monetization strategy across our global portfolio of products and services, across all channels from Web to Direct Sales and Resellers. You will be responsible for enabling our executive team to make key strategic decisions and driving organizational alignment behind our strategies. You will collaborate extensively and globally across teams including product management, product and partner marketing, finance, sales, and customer success to accelerate growth across our company as we pioneer a new software category.
This position is a people manager role reporting to the EVP, Chief Operating Officer.

Develop growth strategies for the company’s products by understanding and developing our business strategy, understanding target market and customer requirements, collaborating on product strategy, creating competitive differentiation, tracking (and establishing) market trends, and measuring results

Create and refine pricing & packaging (P&P) models for new and existing products

Identify and understand customer value drivers through market research, including segmentation and willingness to pay

Understand competitive dynamics and develop differentiation strategies through P&P, discount strategies, and sales campaigns

Understand costs and margin requirements and incorporate into strategies

Partner with Product Management and Sales to create and drive alignment behind P&P strategies

Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Systems to activate P&P

Define and drive product requirements for billing and telemetry for SaaS products

Enable organization on new P&P offerings, through content development, internal webinars and small group sessions, and customer facing assets

Review market performance to optimize offerings regularly based on a fact-based analysis in an effort to achieve strategic objectives (e.g., share, revenue, profits)

Plan, develop and implement promotional pricing campaigns

Recruit, develop, coach, and retain industry leading pricing & packaging strategists and analysts

Collaborate effectively to drive cross functional alignment behind business strategies by working closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations
Hybrid:
Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

15+ years business experience with 8+ years of experience in pricing strategy (within SaaS, Enterprise Software, or Cloud Platforms), including team leadership roles

Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within an organization

Experience building, developing, and leading a strategy team

MBA degree, ideally with focus in Marketing, Sales, or Product Strategy

Excellent verbal and written executive communication skills

Strong analytical skills to frame and guide analytics workstreams

Strong organization and project-management skills, including the ability to meet demanding, evolving, and often competing deadlines

Previous experience at a strategy consulting with experience in pricing, marketing, product, or sales strategy

Ability to create and present data in a visual format and explain the insights clearly and concisely

Experience building customer research, including conjoint surveys
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $251,100 - $393,500 base salary
Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $233,900 - $354,675 base salary
This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and
benefits.
