Job Description

Responsibilities will span across Debit, Credit, Prepaid & Digital solutions including:

  • Be the go-to person for all Product delivery requirements in the market.

  • Build Product decks, Data analysis, reports, and dashboards.

  • Help monitor targets and goals, working closely with cross-functional teams.

  • Help with projection of key product KPIs for the market.

This role will work very closely with the Country Manager for the WA cluster, Business Development Teams, the Marketing team, and the other cross-functional teams within Visa. The candidate will interact with all levels of Visa management and staff. This position will involve constant interaction and communication with Clients and key Visa stakeholders.

This role requires to customize and standardize the available information, in terms of presentations, case studies, & periodic reviews, making them readily available for the clients. Help bring the global best practices in terms of reporting to your countries by localizing the content and template.

Participate in cross-functional projects, especially around innovation, benefits, loyalty, user experience and channels. Collaborate with the marketing and other product teams in SSA and CEMEA.

A significant element of this role will be the ability to generate thought leadership around consumer products, and requires you to work closely with markets, key issuers, and global clients to drive acquisition, profitable usage, payment volume and revenue. This includes, but is not limited to, development of consumer segmentation strategies, portfolio optimization, upgrades, performance tracking, channel diversification, driving greater cross-border and e-commerce volume.

You will be responsible for driving the product agenda in your market.

You will combine your product management experience with your awareness of client needs to increase customer engagement with their Visa account, driving usage and preference.

Responsibilities

  • Be a thought leader and problem solver for the market as well as a trusted advisor to the Solutions delivery head, managing product delivery across for multiple products (Consumer Debit, Credit, Prepaid & Digital)

  • Find new opportunities for Visa to expand the product deployment and spearhead new payment flow opportunities.

  • Product lead for the clients and be responsible for overall achievement of the Revenue and Cost targets sub-cluster.

  • Provide Commercial, Operations Support including Sales Pipeline Efficacy, revenue target, and Operations Process and products Governance to the Sub-Cluster.

  • Manage sub-cluster implementations and report to respective stakeholders.

  • Train customers on product functionalities and processes.

  • Work with various governmental schemes to bring thought leadership to the payment’s infrastructure in the sub-cluster.

  • Develop, maintain, and cultivate close relationships with decision-makers and senior management of designated clients. Understand their business strategies, priorities, needs and business processes, present to them product ideas and advise them how Visa products can affect their results.

  • Represent Visa Products to the clients by providing a point of contact to them, with permanent high-quality support on the Visa products, rules, and policies.

  • Identify investment and partnership opportunities with external parties in the ecosystem to enhance Visa’s capabilities and value to issuers.

  • Ensure the development of individual designated clients’ products plans, with corresponding tactics and actions to achieve defined goals.

  • Work with Banks as well as Non-Banking Financial Institutions to support their payment strategy and go to market with Visa products.

  • Collaborate closely with the Sales organization and other functions to deliver Visa 360 approach.

  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional leads to drive strategic alignment and ensure product roadmap is supportive of all common initiatives and priorities.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
•8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least
5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or
2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
•9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or
more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters,
MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
•Team Player. The ability to work smoothly with peers & stakeholders is a
critical requirement of this role.
•12+ years in related industry experience in retail banking
•Client management skills
•Understanding of the drivers of retail bank product P&Ls and an understanding of trends in retail bank strategy around customer engagement. Life cycle
management and multi-product penetration strategies.
•Digitally curious, follows industry trends and can utilize this exposure to
provide compelling supporting information to Visa’s product, customer
experience and digital recommendations.
•Solid interpersonal skills, strong demonstrated collaborator with the ability to
effectively work cross-organizationally.
•Ability to drive decisions and operate in ambiguity.
•Ability to resolve conflicting situations.
•Excellent communication skills
•Ability to travel frequently across designated markets.
•Self-directed and motivated
•Skilled in managing complex issues and work under pressure.
