Visa Direct is a money movement solution that Visa provides to clients (issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants and service providers) to facilitate domestic and cross-border fund transfers/disbursements using debit card credentials, bank account information or digital wallet addresses around the world. In the U.S., Visa Direct supports pull and push money movements, i.e., Original Credit Transaction (OCT) and consumer and business applications including real-time bank account funding (AFT), person to person (P2P) transfer, person to micro-business transfer (e.g., payments to landscaper), and funds disbursement (e.g., insurance claim disbursements). Currently, the NA push payments market globally is estimated to be a 13T opportunity and there is over 700B in cross border payments originating from North America. Over the past years we have invested in establishing competitive payment rails and superior market readiness, and we are now ready to focus aggressively on cross border growth.
Senior Director Head of Sales Delivery, North America Visa Direct, has ownership and accountability of driving client launches, shortening time to revenue, scaling programs to revenue expectations, and ensuring newly signed clients are supported from contract signing through program scale. This role will manage a team of sales delivery professionals to deliver on aggressive launch and revenue targets across highly visible and challenging client segments. This senior director will report directly into the Head of North America Visa Business Development and be part of building a new ecosystem in the fast-moving world of payments.
This is a cross- functional role so organizational savvy and interpersonal skills are critical, as we interface with specialized product, account executive, client consulting, marketing, corporate communications, legal, and finance teams to coordinate the end goal of achieving aspirational objectives. We are looking for a highly driven, relentless, and client-savvy self starter has a proven track record of success in fast paced environments with demanding timelines who can deliver on our aggressive launch and revenue goals.
Essential Functions
Build and lead the Sales Delivery team to drive Visa Direct launch, implementation, and scale with senior leadership (e.g. CEO, CTO) at newly signed unmanaged clients
Shorten time to revenue by working with clients to create a customized onboarding and go-to-market plans with clear launch timelines and milestones aligned with contract commitments
Drive clients, sellers, account managers and solutioning and implementation teams to identify connection paths to the acquirer/processor and sponsor bank and support technical integrations with Visa Direct
Implement complex and multifaceted pricing constructs with clients and internal operational teams to meet contractual obligations and consult and optimize external client pricing constructs in market
Lead the implementation of client best practices on monetization, digital user experiences and marketing initiatives to support clients to drive end user adoption and market expansion
Drive the development of maintenance of client sales delivery playbook and disseminate learnings to the team and frontline sellers/sales delivery professionals
Optimize existing or create/remove internal processes for tracking onboarding effectiveness to reducing launch timelines to streamline speed to revenue
