Visiting Physicist - YC

The position is open for an applicant with Master’s degree who is interested in accelerator research or related discipline and seeking to gain work experience.

Primary job duties include but not limited to:

• Provide necessary code for integrating a software package to study thermal, mechanical and optical response of thin crystal with X-ray pulse impinging at high repetition rate.
• Develop some of the functions for an on-going numerical package for simulating the X-ray optics for some of the LCLS-II-HE new instruments, like Dynamic X-ray Scattering instruments.
