IT Manager

We are seeking a talented IT Manager to lead the foundation of our IT operations. This is a unique opportunity for a driven and experienced professional to establish and grow our IT infrastructure from the ground up.

Reporting directly to the Head of Security, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our technology stack. Strong experience with Google Workspace, JumpCloud, and Unifi networks is a must.

As the organization scales, you will be responsible for hiring and managing an IT team to support Voltage Park’s evolving IT needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Administration: Manage and optimize our Google Workspace, including user management, security configurations, and integration with other tools.

  • Identity and Access Management: Administer JumpCloud for identity and access management, ensuring secure and efficient user provisioning and compliance with security standards.

  • Network Management: Oversee our office network infrastructure, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting it to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.

  • IT Operations & Support: Act as the primary point of contact for IT support, providing hands-on assistance and technical troubleshooting as needed.

  • Cybersecurity Compliance: Work closely with the Head of Security to implement and maintain robust cybersecurity protocols, overseeing endpoint security, network protections, and best practices.

  • Project Management: Lead IT projects, from system upgrades to deploying new technology, managing project timelines, budgets, and successful implementations.

  • Policy Enforcement: Enforce IT policies and procedures, including our acceptable use, data security, and device management policies.

  • Strategic Planning and Budgeting: Develop the IT budget, forecast technology needs, and align the IT strategy with Voltage Park’s needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years in IT management with direct experience managing Google Workspace, JumpCloud, and Unifi networks.

  • Team-Building Skills: Proven experience in building and managing an IT team, including recruiting, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative work environment.

  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience configuring and managing Google Workspace, administering JumpCloud for Windows, OSX and Linux devices, and managing Unifi network infrastructure.

  • Leadership: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative management style and the ability to inspire a team.

  • Project Management: Solid project management skills with a track record of delivering IT projects on time and within budget.

  • Security Knowledge: Strong understanding of cybersecurity practices, with experience implementing and managing IT security protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience scaling IT infrastructure in a growing organization.

  • Certifications in relevant technologies (Google Workspace, JumpCloud, Networking).

  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance (SOC2, GDPR, CCPA)
