Job Description: Security OfficerPosition Title: Security OfficerLocation: Louisville KYShift: 1st 2nd and 3rd shifts regularly available both FT and PTPosition Summary:The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property by monitoring and patrolling the premises. The Security Officer is tasked with preventing unauthorized access, detecting suspicious activities, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, security, and customer service.Qualifications:• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.• Experience: Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not required. We are happy to train those without experience in the industry.• Certifications:• Security Officer License (where applicable).• CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred).• Skills:• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to emergency situations.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Proficient in using security systems, cameras, and basic office technology (e.g., email, Microsoft Office).• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for long periods.• Driving Eligibility: Posts requiring operation of a company vehicle will only be permitted for those over the age of 25 with a screened motor vehicle record.
