We are currently seeking an experienced Project Technician to join our Ann Arbor, MI office. This role is ideal for a skilled and motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Project Technician at Walker Consultants, you will:
- Lead technical support functions for projects, including creating designs using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Develop models, arrange details, and prepare plan sheets in accordance with project requirements.
- Assemble project documents and ensure understanding of building components and their integration.
- Assist in developing project technical support budgets and timelines and track progress periodically.
- Communicate project requirements effectively with the design team and ensure adherence to quality control standards.
- Monitor and maintain office BIM/CADD standards and participate in corporate initiatives to improve in-house systems and processes.
- Support the project team with field surveys, construction observation site visits, punch lists, and other technical needs.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Drafting.
- 3–5 years of experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellence.
