In this role, you will partner with other lawyers and the business to negotiate, draft, and provide critical analysis for a variety of commercial legal agreements, and deliver recommendations to various stakeholders for important projects that support Walmart's business initiatives. In fulfilling your duties, you will partner cross-functionally with key business and legal stakeholders within the company and occasionally manage outside counsel.What you'll do:• Provide legal support to other business-support lawyers, as well as business clients.• Convey pragmatic legal guidance that reflects an informed understanding of the Company's legal rights, obligations, and potential risks to allow the client to make informed decisions.• Empower your business partners while working collaboratively to responsibly achieve cross-functional goals.What you'll bring:• Diverse legal experience (ex. combination of in-house, government, leading law firm, etc.).• Experience drafting a broad assortment of commercial contracts.• Comfort in working with a wide range of colleagues, clients, and other interested parties.• A strong work ethic and desire to learn a variety of substantive legal issues, including commercial transactions, antitrust, intellectual property, consumer protection, product and food safety.About WalmartAt Walmart, we help people save money so they can live better.
