Position Summary...What you'll do...Walmart Connect (WMC) looking for a seasoned B2B marketing leader to join our marketing team asDirector of Marketing for Global Emerging Brands . Reporting to the Senior Director of Growth Marketing, this role will strategize and execute end-to-end marketing programs to increase awareness, adoption, and revenue among emerging brands and Walmart Marketplace sellers.Key Duties & Responsibilities:Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and initiatives to drive growth and engagement for emerging brands on the Walmart Marketplace.Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, email, events, and partnerships.Manage a team of talented marketers, providing coaching and development to ensure high performance and professional growth.Collaborate with sales, product, and analytics teams to measure and optimize the effectiveness of marketing programs and campaigns.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including brand partners, agencies, and media outlets.Work with global marketing teams, helping these teams utilize WMC value propositions and existing collateral to fuel their local marketing channels.Oversee the creation of marketing materials, content, and presentations to support sales and business development efforts.Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.Demonstrate ability and willingness to work with global teams outside of regular working hours.Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.Utilize a data-driven mindset to measure, track, and optimize marketing campaigns, ensuring they deliver the highest possible ROI.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field and 4 years' experience in marketing or related field OR 7 years 'experience in marketing or related field.1 year's supervisory experience or experience leading cross-functional projects.Highly seasoned and high-performing B2B Marketing leader with 10+ years of experience building and executing multi-channel go-to-market plans.Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.Proven experience in managing executive stakeholders and building strong cross-functional relationships at all levels of an organization.High degree of professional confidence and credibility with effective presence, strong written and verbal skills to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including executive levels in the company.Experience working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to manage and motivate teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong leadership abilities with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams through periods of rapid growth and ambiguity.Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute methodically.Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.Experience in managing large-scale marketing budgets and ensuring effective allocation of resources.Proven ability to work effectively in a global, matrixed organization.Familiarity with the latest marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.Strong data-driven mindset with experience in measuring, tracking, and optimizing marketing campaigns to ensure the highest ROI.Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and software, with the ability to interpret data and make informed strategic decisions.About Walmart ConnectAt Walmart, we enable the connection between supplier brands and retail shoppers at unprecedented scale.
