Position Summary...What you'll do...As a Manager, Global Procurement -Supply Chain , you will be responsible for partnering with business stakeholders in designing and delivering a comprehensive sourcing and contracting program. In partnering with our Supply Chain business stakeholders, you will impact our vendor selection process, design, and execute the sourcing strategy as well as manage legacy contracts; and collaborating with our vendors and partners to negotiate contracts on behalf of Walmart.You'll make an impact by...• Developing strong relationships with both our internal business partners and external vendors.• Having experience developing a sourcing strategy, drafting contractual language, and negotiating complex agreements.• Having the ability to navigate competing priorities and triage issues.• Possessing strong verbal and written communication skills.• Being able to articulate and make strategic recommendations to executive leadership.• Possessing a great deal of energy, optimism, and a positive attitude.You'll sweep us off our feet if...• You are comfortable working cross functionally and have a teaming mindset.• You have worked on a team responsible for a large-scale sourcing and contracting program, specifically in supply chain.• You have a strong understanding of Walmart culture and the importance of our vendor relationships.The above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed in the role.
