Position Summary...What you'll do...The Walmart Marketplace is a curated community of respected, professional sellers who offer only top-quality, authentic products and best-in-class customer services.The Manager, Seller Planning will sit within the Hardlines Marketplace Category team, and will be responsible for developing reports, dashboards, and visualizations to help highlight trends and actionable insights. You will be responsible for executing and communicating sales plans/budgets and forecasts for the Hardlines MP category business, from a daily to a long-range planning level. You will create, maintain and improve sale s plans and forecasts across the business with the main objective of ensuring ecommerce metrics such as traffic, conversion, and AOV are accurately planned and forecasted . You will work closely with category teams, data & analytics teams, as well as the Marketplace Finance teams.You'll sweep us off our feet if:• You are an expert at manipulating data to quickly highlight trends, risks, and draw accurate conclusions from the data.• You can create dashboards and visuals to generate business insights .• You are customer/seller obsessed, and relationship driven.• You are proactive and thrive in a constantly evolving, fast-paced, dynamic environment.• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• You can develop and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional team members.• You have strong presentation skills and enjoy giving business updates to leadership.• You are crafty and creative in looking for solutions and can utilize multiple tools and resources.• You have a strong ecommerce background and understand how site metrics impact sales .You'll make an impact by:• Performing planning and forecasting at the category and total MP level .• Building analysis that supports holiday assortment strategies and decisions.• Analyzing sales, category and seller to determine assortment opportunity and drive sales growth.• Owning seller segmentation and identify opportunities for growth .• Successfully managing Holiday/Peak readiness plans, providing insights to key stakeholders.• Leading weekly/monthly business reviews, and assist in the execution and distribution of weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting for the team.• Preparing teams for lapping upcoming sales peaks and events .• Providing recaps on quarterly hindsight to drive future strategic assortment decisions.At Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet.
