Position Summary...What you'll do...Walmart is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Global Item Policy Senior Manager to lead our ecommerce compliance efforts. You will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures that ensure compliance with Walmart's item policy standards across all ecommerce channels.This role will be based in Bentonville, AR at our company's brand-new main campus.What you'll do....• Develop and implement item policy standards that align with Walmart's overall business strategy and goals.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ecommerce, marketing, compliance subject matter experts, and legal, to ensure item policies are compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.• Monitor and analyze ecommerce item performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.• Develop and implement corrective actions to address any item policy violations or compliance issues.• Provide training and support to ecommerce business partners and sellers on item policy standards and compliance requirements.• May periodically collaborate with external partners, such as third-party sellers and vendors, to ensure compliance with item policies.• Stay up to date with changes in laws and regulations related to ecommerce and item policies and make recommendations for updates to item policies as needed.• Lead and manage a team of item policy analysts, providing guidance and support as needed.What you'll bring....• Bachelor's degree in business, law, or a related field.• Five or more years of experience in ecommerce compliance, item policy, or a related field.• Strong understanding of ecommerce laws and regulations, including those related to item policies.• Proven track record of developing and implementing effective item policies and procedures.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of item policy analysts.• Familiarity with Walmart's code of conduct and compliance policies is a plus.• A high degree of flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.The above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed in the role.
