Position Summary:As a senior Software Engineer, you will be working along with Tech Lead and other members of the team in implementing features.What you'll do:• Lead medium- to large-scale projects by reviewing project requirements, translating requirements into technical solutions, gathering requested information, writing, and developing code, conducting unit testing. Communicating status and issues to team members and partners.• This position will mostly have work on the UI side but also expected to work with orchestration GraphQL services. You will be leading features individually with handling discovery tasks end to end and working with other cross-functional teams to implement the same. You will be closely working with Tech Lead, Managers, PM and product to gather requirements and translate them into JIRA stories.What you'll bring:• 7+ years of professional experience as a hands-on Frontend Developer• Expert in Web App Development with React technologies• Experience in JavaScript, React, and Next JS• Experience in Kotlin / Java• Experience in writing GraphQL service• Familiarity with OOP design principles• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs• Superior analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude• Ability to perform in a team environment• Strong oral and written communication skills• Ability to interpret and follow technical plans• Understanding of CI/CD, Unit testing and deterministic functional testing, End to End automationAt Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.Minimum Qualifications:Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area. Option 2: 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year's experience in software engineering or related area.
