Maintenance Supervisor

As a Maintenance Supervisor at Warby Parker, your primary responsibilities will include overseeing and guiding the maintenance team while ensuring optimal performance of all production and facility support equipment. You will lead preventative maintenance programs, train Mechanics and Apprentices, and actively pursue learning about the equipment's technology and functionality. Additionally, you'll communicate equipment statuses and collaborate with the Safety manager to maintain a culture of safety in the lab.

To qualify for the Maintenance Supervisor position at Warby Parker, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least four years of experience in maintenance or a related field. We're looking for someone who has strong analytical skills, is comfortable with physical tasks, and demonstrates effective communication within the team. Previous experience in the maintenance industry and knowledge of preventive maintenance methods will definitely earn you extra credit.

Safety is paramount at Warby Parker, and as a Maintenance Supervisor, you will observe all safety policies and protocols, particularly the lockout/tagout practices. You will also conduct weekly meetings with the Safety manager to review current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and develop new ones, ensuring continuous improvement and a safe working environment for everyone in the lab.
