Job Summary: The RN Nurse Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of direct patient care, managing 3rd party payer authorizations, coordinating weekly clinician schedules, handling referral intakes, overseeing clinical record reviews, and participating in monthly Quality Assurance (QA) activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care Management: Assign patients to field staff, follow up on referrals, and manage patient care by taking doctors' orders and reporting test results.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise professional and non-professional staff to ensure quality performance, assist in hiring, and orient new staff to clinical policies and procedures.
  • Coordination & Communication: Manage the case conference process, coordinate all services provided to patients, and maintain regular communication with physicians, patients, and staff.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in QA programs, in-service programs, and monitor patient outcomes to ensure compliance with agency policies and maintain a 5-star CMS rating.
  • Administrative Duties: Handle HR needs, conduct chart audits, support OASIS and coding, and perform field supervision.
  • Direct Patient Care: Provide direct patient care as needed, assess caregiver capabilities, and ensure timely documentation and submission of visit notes and OASIS.

Qualifications:
