It all begins with you.About This RoleWells Fargo is seeking a Financial Crimes Director - Strategic Planning and Execution Director to join the Financial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM) team. The Financial Crimes Director will be responsible for supporting the Financial Crimes Risk Management Program team, including Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Counter-Terrorist Financing, and Global Sanctions. As second line of defense, Financial Crimes Risk Management provides advice, oversight, and challenge to the first line for these programs.In This Role, You WillPartner with the executive team to refine the multi-year business strategy for FCRM. Develop, implement, and track the FCRM strategic plan, ensuring appropriate alignment to financial, strategic, and risk management objectives. Create and execute corresponding business plans and initiatives.More specifically,• Lead the strategic planning process and develop long-range strategic plans for FCRM aligned to the overall Corporate Risk objectives and Wells Fargo's strategic planning process• Build relationships and serve as the key liaison with internal partners including leaders across FCRM, Corporate Risk, and other stakeholders• Oversee engagement with key stakeholder commitments and obligations related to high priority initiatives including leading team meetings and steering committees to facilitate decision making and support implementation of recommendations and plans• Develop tracking and monitoring metrics and reporting for FCRM and Corporate Risk Leadership to evaluate and demonstrate progress relative to milestones and success criteria developed for each strategic initiatives, including project, technology, resource, and financial views.• Lead large scale, cross organizational strategic initiatives to drive clarity, efficiency, consistency and efficacy of processes and services for the FCRM team and the activities that support them. This includes, but is not limited to:• Provide vision, set direction, and prioritize multiple high-impact, initiatives, and teams to achieve short-term and long-term objectives.• Evaluate process and team efficiency opportunities and developing execution plans that prioritize technology and tool investments to highest return on investment relative to FCRM business objectives.• Utilize key partnerships in India and Philippines to support the strategic vision for core FCRM capabilities, and the design, implement and execute the vision.• Collaborate with senior leaders to develop consistent and effective practices designed to reinforce key FCRM requirements, business strategies and objectives, and efficiency in execution.Required Qualifications:• 8+ years of Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Fraud, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery, Corruption experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education• 4+ years of Management experienceDesired Qualifications:• Proven experience establishing a large-scale vision, developing the strategy to support the vision, gaining consensus across key functional leadership areas through effective communication and successful delivery against goals and objectives.• Well-honed ability to cultivate relationships and collaborate with multiple stakeholders and constituencies.• Expertise in budget and resource planning and process, data, and technology strategy, capability benefit analysis, and investment business case development• Experience driving large-scale organizational change in multiple markets.• Effective communicator, both orally and in writing, able to ask well-crafted questions and present ideas in a clear and compelling manner, good listener who engenders creative thinking and teamwork.• Track record for demonstrating organizational courage and willingness to make tough, informed decisions and thoughtfully share independent perspectives• An ability to develop and articulate sound proposals to key stakeholders and an ability to influence and drive timely decision making.• Strong analytical and critical thinking coupled with an ability to translate ambiguous ideas/issues into well-defined plans/solutions with a track record for delivering results.• Proven leadership ability to build and lead high-performing teams, ensuring proper staffing and expertise.• Ethical integrity and proven ability to serve as a role model by reinforcing and demonstrating to your team members Wells Fargo's core values and behavioral expectations.Job Expectations:• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time• Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening.• This position offers a hybrid work schedule• This position is not eligible for VISA sponsorshipPosting Locations:150 E 42nd Street, New York, NY401 S Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC250 E John Carpenter Frwy, Irving, TX600 S 4th Street, Minneapolis, MN800 S Jordan Creek Pkwy, West Des Moines, IA114 N Beaumont Street, Saint Louis, MO1150 W Washington Street, Tempe, AZPay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position.
