Apply today.About This RoleWells Fargo's Global Operations team provides middle and back-office services for all five of Wells Fargo's Lines of Business (Consumer and Small Business Banking, Consumer Lending, Wealth and Investment Management, Commercial Banking and the Corporate and Investment Bank) and Enterprise Functions, across locations in the US, India and the Philippines.Data, Analytics and Reporting (DAR) is the team leading the transformation of Global Operations' data and analytics capabilities, driving the modernization of our platform and adoption of ML and AI techniques.Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced leader to join the DAR leadership team, to manage the teams and data resources supporting our Shared Services and Payments Operations organizations.In This Role, You Will• Lead the implementation of new data platforms in support of key shared services operations (e.g. KYC/AML, reg reporting) and migration of end-of-life environments to target state architecture• Implement key aspects of Wells Fargo's data governance program in the Shared Services domain, including the remediation of data defects. Ensure adherence to data management and data governance regulations, policies and compliance requirements• Run a reporting platform that provides timely and accurate insights to operations leaders on the health of their teams and processes, control issues, and overall performance.• Build and execute an analytics book of work for Shared Services and Payments, leveraging data and advanced analytics to identify optimization opportunities (e.g. capacity forecasting)• Lead a team of data professionals, analysts and data scientists in the day-to-day delivery of their work (database maintenance, report development and production, ad hoc analytics). Manage overall capacity dedicated to Shared Services and Payments Operations, identify resourcing constraints and make decisions and/or escalate accordingly• Join discussions with Shared Services and Payments Operations leaders as part of their extended leadership team to understand business needs, priorities, etc.• Partner with horizontal teams in DAR and other teams across the firm to jointly deliver on part of the book of work (e.g. AI/ML POC projects, data governance and lineage).• Ensure the completion of risk-mitigating activities including code testing, peer review, consolidation of similar recurring processes and reports, and best-in-class documentation (i.e. BRDs, FSDs) that is structured for consistency and is easy to understand by multiple levels of reviewers, partners, and regulatory agents• Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategyRequired Qualifications:• 8+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education• 4+ years of management experience• 8+ years of Data and Analytics experienceDesired Qualifications:• 8+ years of direct BI (Tableau and/or Power BI) development experience• 8+ years of experience managing data platforms (Teradata, Azure, Databricks)• 6+ years of building and operating data environments for regulatory reporting (data governance, BCBS-239, data remediation)• Experience managing virtually, including leading on- and offshore employees• Experience successfully developing actionable data analytics and data strategies to inform, influence, and drive business outcomes• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong credible relationships with key stakeholder groups including executive management, regulatory examiners, and internal auditors.• Ability to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy• Experience attracting, retaining, developing, and motivating high performing teams that work well under pressure.• Experience leading in a fast paced, demanding, and deadline driven environment• Experience providing "credible challenge" to business partners, when necessary, with the ability to lead through influence in a matrix environment• Ability to influence without direct authority, create and manage (while achieving results) large-scale change and influence people at all levels of the organization.• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsJob Expectations:• Ability to work on-site at stated location on the job opening• Ability to work hybrid work schedule o9f 3 days in office / 2 remote• Ability to travel 1-2 times per month within the USPay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position.
