We work closely with Technology and Product Management to ensure we are problem-driven (versus solution) and customer-first. While we have individual expertise across product design, research, content strategy, and design operations, we all operate as empowered leaders with strong design rationale. As a team, we care about each other and believe in radical candor, want to have fun while we work, and are obsessed with what's most important to our 30+ million customers and incorporating their voices into every decision!The Experience Design Senior Lead Content Designer , leads content design and user experiences across our products, contributing to overall strategy, planning, product vision, and frameworks in partnership with Product Management and Engineering Leadership to deliver the end-to-end experience.In this role, you will:Develop and execute customer experience solutions for online applications and websitesCreate the most complex industry-leading user interface design solutionsLead teams of customer experience professionals during deployment of interaction design strategiesLead the strategy and resolution of the most complex and significant challenges across multiple areas of Content Design or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale, broad-reaching, and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking, and coordination of highly complex activities and resolutionProvide vision, leadership, and industry expertise regarding large-scale enterprise-wide Content Design strategies that significantly influence the organization's business and financial operationsStrategically lead all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise; serve as an expert advisor to Content Design leadership; represent the company externally in industry networking and trade and technical eventsJob Duties:Write compelling copy for a complicated and highly personal space - financial institution experience is not requiredLeverage research data to build solutions that balance the needs of our users with our business goalsAn excellent presenter, who can sell ideas, create coalition, and build supportAn arbiter of best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and styleOffer content design perspective throughout the product development process, influencing strategic decisions to improve the overall experience and ensure consistency.Required Qualifications:7+ years of Graphic or Website Design experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationThink at a systems level to turn complexity into simple experiencesEnjoy working across lots of different functionsLove the practice of content design, and care about the detailsBring clarity to your teams through design and product best practicesRepresent content design as a role that impacts the entire product, well beyond the wordsJob Expectations:This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorshipThis position is a hybrid work model and will not be a telecommute position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
