We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Business Partner with specialist expertise in product design and user research recruitment to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll attract, select, and onboard exceptional design and research talent, driving Welltech’s commitment to creating user-centred, innovative experiences.

What You’ll Do

Become a Trusted Partner:

Collaborate closely with hiring managers and leaders across Product Design and User Research functions to understand their unique hiring needs. Develop strategic recruitment plans that deliver outstanding creative and analytical talent.

Craft Compelling Narratives:

Write engaging, targeted job descriptions that resonate with top-tier professionals in product design and research fields. These descriptions will showcase Welltech’s innovative culture and accurately reflect the nuances of the roles.

Filter for Top Talent:

Leverage your keen eye for exceptional craft to carefully evaluate portfolios and work samples. Identify candidates with outstanding design and research skills, deep understanding of their craft, and the ability to produce impactful, user-centred solutions.

Sourcing Powerhouse:

Utilise your knowledge of the product design and research talent landscape to identify and engage the best candidates for roles such as:

  • Product Designers

  • User Researchers (quantitative and qualitative)

  • Content Designers

Your sourcing strategies will include:

  • Platforms like LinkedIn, Dribbble, Behance, and research communities.

  • Networking at design and UX events.

  • Leveraging employee referrals and innovative sourcing techniques to build a robust talent pipeline.

Specialist Focus:

As a specialist in product design and research recruitment, you’ll bring expertise, insight, and targeted strategies that go beyond a generalist approach. Ensure every hire aligns with the highest standards of craft and impact.

Streamlined Recruitment Journey:

Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for design and research roles, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and stakeholders. Provide timely, constructive feedback and optimise each step using our ATS (Ashby).

Staying Ahead of the Curve:

Stay informed about trends and skills in product design and research, such as:

  • Design systems

  • Usability testing

  • Behavioural research

  • Accessibility

Use this knowledge to remain competitive in the hiring landscape.

Data-Driven Decision-Making:

Track and analyse recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate conversion rates, and quality of hire. Use insights to refine strategies and demonstrate ROI for recruitment initiatives.

Collaborative Spirit:

Work seamlessly with the broader HR and hiring teams to ensure a cohesive, efficient recruitment experience for all stakeholders.

Welltech Ambassador:

Collaborate with the recruitment marketing team to promote Welltech’s employer brand in the design and research communities. Represent Welltech at industry events, conferences, and meetups to attract top-tier talent.

What You Bring to the Table

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with a proven track record of hiring for product design and user research roles.

  • Expertise in portfolio review, with the ability to identify exceptional craft, creativity, and user-focused problem-solving skills.

  • A specialist focus on design and research recruitment, bringing tailored strategies and insights to these roles.

  • Knowledge of sourcing strategies, including experience with Dribbble, Behance, and research-focused communities.

  • Experience hiring in at least two of these regions: the UK, Cyprus, Spain, Poland, and Ukraine.

  • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)—experience with Ashby is a bonus (training provided!).

  • Strong analytical skills to track and report on key recruitment metrics for design and research functions.

  • The ability to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring teams, ensuring a positive, impactful candidate experience.

  • Familiarity with design and research-specific methodologies, tools, and trends (e.g., usability testing, accessibility, and design systems).
