Supply Chain Manager, Apparel and Accessories

As a Supply Chain Manager at WHOOP, you will be leading initiatives and managing projects as they relate to optimizing the supply chain for Apparel & Accessories at WHOOP, focusing heavily on capacity planning, production timelines, and costing. You will be working in a fast paced and often changing environment, requiring flexibility in process, creativity in resolving challenges, and openness to approach every situation with a solutions-oriented outlook. This is a highly cross-functional role--you will partner with product Design, Development, Buying/Planning, Logistics, and more to drive our agile supply chain and manage our vendor relationships. The Apparel and Accessories you’ll help produce is part of an ongoing effort to optimize and advance the WHOOP product. 

 

This position will be in-person at the WHOOP office space in Boston. Applicants must currently reside in the Greater Boston Area or be open to relocation in order to be considered.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure global calendar dates are met to protect merchandise flows and help prioritize the design and development teams according to delivery
  • Collect and verify all customs-required info for all of products and review compliance standards with all vendors and sub-suppliers
  • Analyze and report on cost of goods (inclusive of raw material, cost of make, freight, and storage) and work to find cost saving solutions
  • Act as point of contact for all vendors and manage vendor relationships with integrity while protecting our goals and quality standards
  • Ownership of all projects and initiatives as they relate to apparel & accessories supply chain


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management - preferably in metals, plastics, and/or silicone. 
  • Experience managing both tier 1 and tier 2 suppliers
  • Proficient in the Microsoft and Google suite
  • Approach problems with a solution-oriented outlook with a strong bias for action
  • Ability and willingness to partner across the organization on sourcing, supply chain, and production
  • Track record of successfully delivering on project timelines
  • Flexibility to work in a fast paced, often changing environment


This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.
