Are you the person we are looking for? This individual will have proven expertise managing complex architectures spanning from infrastructure to business applications. The Enterprise Architect will address a range of challenges experienced by the enterprise, including strategic and/or tactical planning, development and implementation of future-state technology infrastructure. This person will take on complex assessments, dependency discovery exercises, migrations and transformation projects for business application technologies.As a subject matter expert, the Enterprise Architect will provide leadership for delivering a range of IT solutions that support various strategic business application-driven initiatives. Qualified individuals will work with various technical disciplines, business and application groups in fast-paced, enterprise-level environments that require exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills. This position will facilitate and enable the prioritization of analysis, development and implementation of technologies to support business requirements.Responsibilities• Provide technical direction and leadership for enterprise architecture integration and planning for medium- to large-sized initiatives• Provide expertise in the definition, adoption and adherence to client technical architecture strategies with a focus on technical requirements and dependencies leading to future- and targeted-state solutions• Identify and address technology issues in current state, and develop and present future-state options across a variety of projects• Lead cross-functional teams consisting of Windward professionals, client personnel and external vendors to successfully manage application transformation projects (strategy, scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, procurement, resource, supplier and stakeholder communications), and participate in multiple projects that may have competing priorities to achieve project objectives on schedule and within budget• Operate across multiple projects concurrently and assume responsibility for the appropriate technical architecture planning/implementation of projects as needed• Communicate project objectives, as well as risks and benefits of a variety of technical solutions and challenges via PowerPoint and Word in technical and business language• Collaborate with colleagues, team and executives to build and document technology standards• Leverage technical expertise to assist with the development of design documents, migration strategy, technical plans and other project deliverables including technology architecture• Resolve critical issues within matrix organization while maintaining rigorous adherence to project timelines, quality and costs• Lead team meetings with internal and client stakeholders and make formal project reports and presentations to various level audiences• Develop and implement IT business processes based on industry best practices such as ITIL, COBIT and ISO, etc.Qualifications• Eight to 10 years in a lead technical role in enterprise architecture role successful optimization and consolidation projects and in the designing cloud and data center architectures• Experience working in regulated industries, energy, finance or Federal Govt.• Four-year college or university program certificate in a related subject matter• Certifications required; Lean IX Practitioner Level I or II• 3-5 years experience with LeanIX or similar Enterprise Enterprise Architecture management tooling and configuration.• Demonstrated hands-on experience with application monitoring transformation and migrations; extensive experience in planning, bundling, interdependency mapping and related methods and tools required to support and deliver successful application monitoring projects• Experience in a wide range of assignments covering data center, service assurance strategies, network designs, systems designs and IS management• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and participate on multiple projects with competing priorities with a proven track record of achieving objectives on schedule with high quality and within budget• Demonstrated experience with capturing and understanding business strategies and technical requirements• Expertise in mapping business expectations to cost-effective and situation-appropriate technical solutions (current state to future/targeted state)• Extensive experience planning, designing and architecting highly available, secure and scalable monitoring infrastructure• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills (business and technical) and the ability to deliver presentations to diverse audiences, especially nontechnical decision makers• Excellent communication, organizational and writing skills required• Strong reputation for management, collaboration, team building, dedicated teamwork, a motivated work ethic and dynamic leadership working with both technical and nontechnical staff• Excellent analytical, organizational and facilitation skills, with proven ability to manage multiple projects, resolve and escalate issues and prioritize technical resources• Proficient use of Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Visio and Office tools to manage plans, charts, reports and documentation, etc.• PMP, ITIL, CISSP, CBCP or MBCP certifications are a plusWINDWARD CONSULTING GROUP, INC.
