Assistant Property Manager (Westlake Apartments)

WinnCompanies is searching for an Assistant Property Manager to join our  team at Westlake Apartments. In this role, you will assist the Property Manager in managing all aspects of a 148-unit multifamily community in Sacramento, CA, including leasing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, service requests, and customer service.


The position offers a pay range of $23.00 to $25.00 hourly, depending on experience, with no housing. Additionally, the work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00AM to 5:00PM.


Responsibilities
  • Monitor collections, post rent payments, enforce the collection policy and initiate legal action when required.
  • Facilitate all aspects of apartment leasing: touring with prospective residents, processing applications, recertifications and negotiating lease renewals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, respond timely to resident issues and complaints, and promote positive resident relations.
  • Under the supervision of the Property Manager, assist in all facets of physical and financial Management as needed and assigned. Act as Property Manager in the absence of the Manager for specified amounts of time.
  • Prepare financial reports for the Property Manager, resident correspondence, and recertification notices.
  • Monitor the flow of accounts payable from issuing purchase orders to processing invoices.


Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in customer service or leasing
  • Less than 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • A current driver's license in good standing and ability to meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
  • Strong experience with various computer systems, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Superb attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and be trained.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree.
  • Experience with Yardi, OneSite or RealPage property management software.
  • Tax Credit experience.


$23 - $25 an hour
